Biography:
Doug Mark came to Rockford when he was four years old.  He attended Rockford Public schools and graduated from Guilford High School in 1976.  Doug also attended Rock Valley College and Illinois State University.  He started his career in transportation here in Rockford but spent the next 12 years in several cities in the Midwest before returning to Rockford in 1992 to raise his family.  Doug currently works at USF Holland, a trucking company with a facility located in Rockford.

In addition to working in the community and city, he is also involved in many other activities such as the Rockford Dance Company where he has performed in numerous productions in addition to serving on the Board of Directors.  He is also actively involved with the Churchhill's Grove Neighborhood Association, the North End Commons Business Association, the Arthritis Foundation and the Boylan Booster Club.

Doug is a member of Cathedral of Saint Peter Catholic Church where he is a cantor and sings in the choir.  Doug and his wife Sally have six children.
